Today I rode with my parents. We only did 25 miles, my dad has been traveling all week so he was a bit tired. It was for the best really because I only got about 4hrs of sleep last night. -.-
After that we went around to about 4 bike shops comparing new road bikes, saddles and prices. I tested the 2009 Specialized dolce elite compact and.. pretty much fell in love. My jaw was dropping at how smooth the bike felt.. and it literally was gliding beneath me. I didn't feel as though I was struggling and my dad took out my normal bike (A Specialized hybrid) and he, who is someone who normally hammers it and I have trouble keeping up with him, could hardly keep up with me. It was amazing. I felt ready to buy the bike right then and there. The guy set it up to fit me perfectly.. I had no idea the angle of your leg could be so efficient and important. I went to several other shops after that and I wasn't really impressed. I tried out a FIT and it just wasn't as good.



Freaking $1300. But I tell you what.. I'll likely have it by next weekend to be honest.

I've got a 30 miler tommorow, a 30 miler Monday and a 40 miler next Sunday in the Katy flatlands ride.

My friend's boyfriend essientially cheated on her. It was horrible. He did it right in front of her too. Drinking isn't a fucking excuse.
My brother got kicked out of his dorm and my parents had to drive 18hrs each way to go retrieve his ass. He only had a few weeks left of school before graduating. Luckily the DA didn't charge him. Though he should've been in my personal opinion.
My mom quit her job because the women at work are giving her shit and drama.

But you know what. Yesterday was great. I had a lot of fun. I hung out with my two good friends, walked through the woods and smoked. We had a shit load of laughs and made fun of each other. I think the best part was when *GB1 grabbed GB2's ass. I lol'd massively.
I remember thinking: These are good times. These are times I'll look back on and remember with a grin.

*(GB = my nickname for the two = gamerboy)

Got a ride in the morn. 6am.
